Recycled fairies

Work in progress. I still have wings to make and actually find a good Title name for these. Any suggestions? They are made from recycled t-shirts and scraps of yarn. I love making these--they are fun!

Bluegypsy

I love this artist!
Her work has such
a softness to it.

Sugar Plum fairies

Image
My daughter fell asleep looking at the lights on the tree.
The only thing that came to mind was "The Nutcracker".
What better image of Christmas than this.
Innocence at it's purest form...

Angel on Wood

Image
I created this piece for my Etsy shop (http://www.pixiesinthehouse.etsy.com/) last month.
I actually did several of them. I love the way it turned out. Like an old antique image. I found so much spare wood in our work space that I knew I had to do something with it...but I guess I have a lot more to make, 'cause there's still lots of wood back there!!!
