Pixies in the House - Art and Beyond

This little darling with her long braids is my second Fairy done. I still do NOT have names for them. I guess I still have all afternoon and night to think about it before I list them in my shop http://www.pixiesinthehouse.etsy.com tomorrow.

Finally I've managed to finish and photograph one of my new creations made out of recycled t-shirts~a bit of yarn & some scraps of felt/fabric! let us not forget lots & lots of glitter and sparkle! http://www.pixiesinthehouse.etsy.com Ready to be sold in my shop for the New Year.

"Golden Fairy"(11"x14") & "Rainbow Princess"(8"x91/2") Original acrylic paintings (just listed in my Etsy shop! http://www.pixiesinthehouse.etsy.com/ ). I'll probably try and make more of these. They were enchanting to create!

Work in progress. I still have wings to make and actually find a good Title name for these. Any suggestions? They are made from recycled t-shirts and scraps of yarn. I love making these--they are fun!

I love this artist! Her work has such a softness to it.

My daughter fell asleep looking at the lights on the tree. The only thing that came to mind was "The Nutcracker". What better image of Christmas than this. Innocence at it's purest form...

I created this piece for my Etsy shop ( http://www.pixiesinthehouse.etsy.com/ ) last month. I actually did several of them. I love the way it turned out. Like an old antique image. I found so much spare wood in our work space that I knew I had to do something with it...but I guess I have a lot more to make, 'cause there's still lots of wood back there!!!
