I have not been making dolls for very long therefore your kind compliments give me much encouragement to pursue my doll making road. Well, I managed to finish my " ADO 4 Elements Doll "! ...I am quite happy with the way she turned out!!! She has no name, so if one of you could come up with a great name I just might send you a goodie from my studio/ Etsy shop . Now off to other creative things... I am currently working on a portrait commission for a very good friend. Inspired by a class picture of her two boys ... ...and a painting of "Pierrot" for my dear Mom who is far from me!

First things first...I am proud to announce that the winner of my first art doll giveaway is : JodieB. Congrats!!! I can't wait to get "Clarisse" out to you! I would also like to greatly thank the few of you who were willing to sign up to my blog and participate! Now, on the unfortunate not-so highlight of the day. After so much excitement to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, I have to say it was a bit disappointing. The book is a thousand times better! I know...the books are always better than the movies, but in this case the movie missed the whole point of the story...so ~so disappionted.

Though I have been in the States for quite a while now my Motherland is still in my heart. Today is July 14th and a day for celebration in France. I may not be with my compatriots physically I celebrate this day with my heart. On another note...this evening (6pm eastern time) my daughter will be picking the winner of my first Art Doll giveaway .
