Well, I finally worked out the hair issue on my art doll!! Once I had finally figured out how I was going to do her hairstyle everything fell into place~her crown,details,shawl...I am quite pleased in the way she came out, but boy was this a new experience for me!

As I walked out to my front yard to drive my daughter to school this morning I was stopped by the beauty of a lovely dragonfly hanging to one of my climatis flower. Every year the jolly little Leprechaun comes by our house to leave us chocolates. He came by again this year. My daughter was SOOOOOoooo thrilled to find the chocolates, but decided that next year we needed to put up a trap to catch him 'cause she said that GOLD was better than chocolate.

A good friend of mine recommended the other day that I try to create a slightly more sweet, kid friendly kind of character that would keep my artistic style, but be more attractive to a larger market.
