My Lucy from Odd-Dolls

Image
What a joy today when the mailman came to my door to bring me a package. It was my very first Odd-Dolls creation. I must say that just the packaging itself was a gift, but that little Lucy is just too cute. Thanks for making such inspirational characters!

Our friendly Leprechaun visit!

Image
Every year the jolly little Leprechaun comes by our house to leave us chocolates. He came by again this year. My daughter was SOOOOOoooo thrilled to find the chocolates, but decided that next year we needed to put up a trap to catch him 'cause she said that GOLD was better than chocolate.

St. Patrick's Day

Image
My daughter wanted to wish the WHOLE WORLD Happy St. Paddy's. She just HAD to be dressed in green from head to toe! Actually she was terrified to get pinched in school so she made sure she was covered in GREEN!

Photoshop Trials

My good friend Sherry Russo shared this merging technique with me yesterday! I am so excited. This is going to open so many artistic doors for me! Thanks again Sherry!!

Good-Bye Glyndon!

Image
My dear Glyndon the Dragon has found a home. A very kind person bought Glyndon last week. He is on his way to live in Belgium!!!

I don't want to be the Bunny!

I found this little painting I had made last year. I do not know why I had stuck it in my closet, but now that she is out she will be listed in my Etsy Shop really soon!

Scrap Doll

Image
While clearing through all of my scraps of fabric I found time to make this little doll! Yeah!...I had nothing better to do with my time.

Odile-the QUEEN BEE!

Image
Odile seems to think she is the Queen Bee and that everyone around her should do as she says! Yeah...right! Child, you ain't got a stinger larger than Mommy's!!!

NEW CHARACTER!

Image
A good friend of mine recommended the other day that I try to create a slightly more sweet, kid friendly kind of character that would keep my artistic style, but be more attractive to a larger market. Of course my first reaction was..." What the heck does she know! I am an artist and will stick to the art I make whether people like it or not!!!". I slept that night with the thought in my mind. I realized that it did not hurt to try adding a new kind of character. So that very next morning I started sketching...and behold I created "Odile". This little girl is very straight minded and a bit bossy. I must say a compilation of my daughter and my friends daughter (both 5 years old!!!). I am pretty pleased! Please comment...I would appreciate the feedback!
